Festive forage mindful walk

When it comes to foraging for home decorations, winter offers so many possibilities. Even the simplest, barest branch or handful of pinecones can be transformed into impressive decorations and making your own from foraged natural materials is a satisfying and thrifty way to add festive flair to your home at Christmas.

Join us for a walk around the beautiful Burton Farm Fishery and forage for your wonderful woodland Christmas decorations. During and after the mindful walk we will explore how we can make natural wreaths, decorations, show-stopping centrepieces and table decorations from the material we collect. There will be time, materials and space outside to be creative after the walk whilst enjoying a hot drink from the cafe.

Please bring your own secateurs or scissors and a bag to take home your bounty. Some materials will be provided for you to create something from your foraged goods.
